Satisfying build, shapes and prints look great, especially for a set of this size. Pierres and Francos figures are a very nice addition! I hope they keep making F1 sets.

Delikatna klapa silnika i lufa ale po zatyb barzo solidny . zbudowany nietypowymi technikami zato daje więcej frajdy jak normalnie.

Bardzo ładny model . Zadziwiła mnie jego funcjonalność i motoryka , żałuje jedynie że zrezygnowali z dodatkowego pancerza era na bokach na żecz lepszej klatki na dachu.

Ein sehr schönes Modell mit diesmal guten Klemmbausteinen . ( Nicht so wie bei der Maus die war eine Katastrophe) Die Steine sind alle bedruckt Pad Printet und haben eine Wahnsinns FARBE. Die Bauanleitungen sich vorher angucken und die Bedruckten Steine heraussuchen .
Das Zubehör ist auch sehr gut .😀

PANLOS 628011 VIIC U-552 Submarine – Review

If you’re considering the PANLOS 628011 Type VIIC U-552 submarine kit and wondering whether it’s worth buying, here’s the short answer: yes—but with a small caveat.

This is a massive and impressive build, coming in at about 120 cm long with over 6,000 pieces. Right out of the box, the quality stands out. My kit had no missing parts, and the molding quality was excellent throughout. The build itself took many hours and was mostly enjoyable, and the finished model looks fantastic on display—definitely a centerpiece on an office shelf.

That said, there is one notable downside: the bag numbering. While the bags are labeled, the contents aren't entirely accurate. During the first couple of hull sections, I found myself repeatedly searching for pieces I thought were missing—only to discover them in later bags. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does interrupt the build flow. A bit more quality control here would make the experience smoother and less stressful.

On the plus side, this is arguably the best brick-built German submarine available right now. Competing kits—like those from Reobrix—don’t come close in terms of value or accuracy.

Design-wise, the model is thoughtfully engineered. The hull sections can be separated if desired, and the saddle tanks and upper hull panels are removable, allowing for interior viewing. One small tweak I recommend: shorten the torpedoes by one brick segment so they fit fully inside the tubes.

The set also includes a crew of minifigures (in the teens), which are reasonably accurate. Most decorative elements are printed pieces, with only a few stickers used (notably in the engine room rocker arms). The display base is solid, though there’s a minor error—the nameplate incorrectly labels the submarine as U-522 instead of U-552.

Final Verdict

Despite the bagging issue and minor labeling error, this kit delivers an outstanding experience overall. The scale, detail, and final presentation easily justify the price and effort.

Beautiful final effect! Complex building but with steps well explained into the manual. Well...the final result, as already mentioned, is excellent, super realistic and proportionate.

These bricks are the cutest things I've ever seen. Great quality and presentation. Only gripe is that it wasn't boxed/shipped very well so all of my boxes had corner dents when I received my shipment.

No missing parts, looks good once assembled, Minifigures were a nice touch
