Awesome Quality, wow

My first buy on Afobrick and it did not disappoint. Together with the Keeppley K10217 this will be one of the nicest in my collection of bricks sets. The bricks are top quality, no stickers, only printed tiles. Very well designed, fun to build with clear instructions. It has light design and there is a box with a voice recording telling something about this space station in Chinese. Really one of the best and most original sets I have built recently.

I love this set!
Compared to the original concept of Keith Reed, there are some pros and cons:
1) pros
Of course I like the minifigures and some new ideas in the JIE STAR set. There are some barriers at the front of the building and a lot of prints on tiles (planks). The quality of the parts is very good in 99,99%. The clamping force is excellent, so please watch out not to make any errors during the assembly.
The cost/performance ratio is also excellent.
2) Cons
There were two 2x4 tiles and some 2x2 corner that had a matt finish, I never saw these before. For the set, this is not important, since they have used look. But if these parts look the same in other JIE STAR sets, then they do not fit to the rest of the tiles. There was one part missing, a tile modified 2 x 2 with studs on edge. But I had one in my collection of pieces.

Additional information: The diner is not - as in the original desing - built on a 32x32 baseplate but on four 16x16 standard plates.

Beetle Camper Van was fun to build! Looks great with the trailer carrying the motorcycle sitting next to the fuel station. Pieces fit together well, instructions are well presented. Glad I got it!

I love it. I already have the other sets from this series and this is among the best. Its huge, its detailed, its fun to build. Very good. Only downside (except the price) are the lightbricks for the engine. Mine are defective and need to be replaced. Still habe to contact Afobrick for a replacement but im sure there wont be problems.

I am very positively surprised. The model is detailed and grand. The blocks are fitted quite tightly, but thanks to that the tank is very solid, although the tracks could work better. Rating 5 stars because it looks great on the shelf.
